I Love Devon

These pics from today, are the reason I love living in Devon. You can drive 30 minutes and find a great beach, with amazing scenery. And then you can go in the opposite direction and find a huge Radar Aray Tower. This one is in a place called Goose Moor, and belongs to BT.

Going for a Drive

There is a reason behind the amount of landscape pictures i have. I live on the edge of Exmoor in Devon, this means i have some of the most beautiful scenery within a ten minute drive from my house, so my HD gets quite full with picturesque photo's.

So today i went for a drive around the local area all within 1/2 hour of where i live. I took a few photo's in RAW format, just to see how they come out, at the moment i am unsure of wether or not i like them, they look a little too grainy for me, though they do look as though they were shot on film. So after some Photoshopping, i managed to get them where i like them.

Landscapes and Close-Ups

I thought i'd put up some Landscape and Close-Up pictures. Some of them have had a lot of Photoshopping to make them look better, but that is partly due to the quality of my camera. Because it's not the greatest, i have to do a lot of Post Processing work, usually just messing around with colour mapping, and shadows etc. So, i hope people like them, and as always, feel free to comment.

Ok, here's some new photo's that i have had on my HD for a while. Unfortunatley it rained for most of the weekend so wasn't able to get out and get any pics. So have a look at these, and let me know what you think.

First Pictures

These are a few of the pictures i have shot recently. I don't have the flashest of cameras, a Canon EOS D300, bought cheap from a friend. It does the job for now, but i am planning to upgrade some time in the new year. I love the night time picture, i think it gives a good sense of movement.

First Post

This is the first post on my Blog, in the coming weeks i will be adding some of my Photo's. These will be of many different subjects, mainly to do with BMX, Cars and Landscapes.
