Barnstaple

I went for a walk around Barnstaple today, Tuesday. I shot a load of photo's of people shopping for Christmas, and have converted them into Black and White pictures. This is mainly to see how they come out, and also, i think Mono Pictures can look better than colour in the right situation. I also took a few down by the river, it was real windy today, so had to be very careful of exposure times. See what you think, and let me know in the comments.

Newport Trip

Thursday just gone, myself, and some friends went to Newport Skatepark. It was a bit of an adventure, because we had to travel from Devon, into Bristol first to pick up our friend from LDN, Adam. We then headed to the park. As you may know if you've been there, the lighting in the park is AWFUL, so this made getting pictures hard to say the least, my new lens, just did not want to play. So back to the old "Stock" lens it was. There are only a few pics due to the light, but i think i managed to get some half decent one. Also i have played around with the light and contrast in one, just for the hell of it.

Rome Trip

These are some pictures from my trip to Rome with my girlfriend. It is an amazing city, with some of the most picturesque arcitechture. Being an old city it has fountains and statues everywhere. You can realy get a sense of how great the Roman Empire was. Again these shots are from a point and shoot camera not my DSLR.

New York

I have been to New York a number of times. These are a mix of the photo's taken on those occasions. Please be aware they are taken on a small compact camera, not my DSLR, so look a little grainy. I have 100's of pictures from NYC, but these are just some of my favorites.

Boats

Took another trip to Minehead to shoot some pictures of the Fishing Boats in the Harbour. I like the way some of them turned out.
